VIETNAM AND THE REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA RELATIONS
- 9th September 1991: Vietnam recognized Estonia’s independence.
- February 1992: Vietnam and Estonia signed a Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations at Ambassadorial level. At present, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland doubles as Ambassador to Estonia.
- September 1997: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyễn Văn Ngạnh visited Estonia.
- June 2006: Deputy Trade Minister Lê Danh Vĩnh visited Estonia.

Vietnamese exports to Estonia: footwear; coffee; aqua products.
Vietnamese imports from Estonia: machinery and equipment, wood and wood products, rubber.
