Norwegian Ambassador Eirik Glenne, the chairman of the working party on Viet Nam's WTO accession, said Oct. 9 marked the final phase of Viet Nam's negotiation process of becoming a WTO member. Glenne also said that this was the first time the working party had the complete package of documents representing Viet Nam's terms of membership to the WTO. According to a WTO official, Glenne had set a target of Oct. 26 for an agreement in the working party on Vietnam's accession so that to hasten progress in the talks in coming weeks.(VNA) |
