Viet Nam, Nigeria promote agricultural cooperation
Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo praised agreements reached during a Vietnamese Foreign Ministry delegation's visit to the country, particularly the one recommending the combination of key projects on oil and gas exploration and exploitation with human welfare project such as aquatic product raising and wet rice growing.

The Nigerian President made this remark while receiving the visiting Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Dung on Dec. 12.
Previously, Deputy Minister Dung had working sessions with Nigeria's Minister of State for foreign affairs Abubakar Tanco; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Chairman of the board of directors of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Edmund Daucoru; and Minister of Agriculture, Adam Bello.
The parties discussed measures to develop the two countries' cooperation in the oil and gas industry, agriculture, fisheries and other areas(VNA).
