Ha Noi (VNA) – France’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Viet Nam Hervé Bolot has said that Viet Nam's socio-economic development is an example in dynamism.
Viet Nam has also had its profile raised dramatically back in France. The Southeast Asian nation now draws more tourists from France than any other European country, he said during an interview with Radio France Internationale (RFI) last week.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s upcoming visit to France is a strong symbol of relations between the two countries, he stressed.
The French Ambassador also expressed his wish to broaden cooperation between Viet Nam and France in education. He pledged in the future France will create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese to study in his country.
Close to 5,000 Vietnamese students are now studying at universities in France.
