Greetings to Myanmar on national day
Hanoi (VNA) – State President Nguyen Minh Triet on January 3 sent a message of congratulations to Senior Geneal Than Shwe, Chairman of the Union of Myanmar’s State Peace and Development Council, on the occasion of the 61 st anniversary of the country’s Independence Day (Jan. 4).
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also extended greetings to his Myanmar counterpart, General Thein Sein.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem also sent congratulations to Myanmar ’s Foreign Minister U Nyan Win.
