Harjoko is on a trip to Vietnam to attend the 7th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting (ACDFIM-7).

Minister Thanh extended his belief that the visit would contribute to the success of the meeting as well as solidify traditional ties between the two countries and that he considered it an opportunity for the two sides to continue their exchanges and agreements as well as to implement bilateral cooperation on national defence between the two armies.

For his part, Harjoko expressed the hope that national defence cooperation between the two armies would continue to develop and prosper./.
