Measures to boost SMEs capacity discussed
A three-day seminar started in Hanoi on October 16 to discuss measures to strengthen the capacity of small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises in APEC economies.
Delegates to the seminar included managers and representatives of agencies and institutes from Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
Their discussion topics included development of small and medium-sized enterprises in agriculture, policies to support their development, international economic integration, social welfare maintenance.
They also exchanged experiences in preserving and processing agricultural and forestry products, fruits, food processing, ensuring the quality of vegetable and fruits and waste treatment in these enterprises. - Nhan Dan
