Investment promotion forum in north-western provinces
The forum will take place on August 21 in Sa Pa, Lao Cai province with the participation of around 500 delegates, including representatives from different provincial and city people’s committees, investors, economic groups, associations and international organizations such as the World Bank (WB), the Asia Development Bank (ADB), the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA).
Pham Van Cuong, vice chairman of the Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee and head of the organizing board, said that this is the biggest forum in the north-western region, providing a good chance for north-western provinces to introduce their advantages and preferential investment policies to domestic and foreign investors.
